There are several type of Placentations i.e. Basal, Marginal, central, axile, parietal.

Placentation in Hibiscus is Axil. In Axil placentation the placentae are located on a central column. Partitions from the central column to the ovary wall create chambers (locules) that separate the placentae and attached ovaries from each other.

Which of the following is NOT a consequence of China's one-child policy?
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer:

(B) Abortion, abandonment, and infanticide of males occur regularly.

Explanation:

China's one child policy was formed in 1979 with the aim to curb the increasing population of the country. Considered world's one of the most controversial methods to control population, it permitted couples to have only one child. As the traditional Chinese society preferred male child over female child, one child policy especially hit a blow to female population. Parents started to abort or abandon females because they wanted to have a male child and government did not allow a second child.

This move created a huge imbalance in sex ratio. Number of males increased drastically with respect to number of women. Males were not aborted and did not face abandonment as they were highly valued in society. The program was relaxed in 2013 and allowed rural couples and ethnic minorities to have 2 children and it was finally scraped off in 2015.

How does a virus get into the cell?
vekshin1

Answer:

A virus attaches to a specific receptor site on the host cell membrane through attachment proteins in the capsid or via glycoproteins embedded in the viral envelope. The specificity of this interaction determines the host—and the cells within the host—that can be infected by a particular virus.

mrs_skeptik [129]

Answer:

hope this helps!

Explanation:

When a nerve impulse reaches the end of an axon, the axon releases chemicals called neurotransmitters. Neurotransmitters travel across the synapse between the axon and the dendrite of the next neuron. ... The binding allows the nerve impulse to travel through the receiving neuron.
