"By the Waters of Babylon" is a short story written by Stephen Vincent Benet and it was published in 1937. This story is about an post-apocalyptic world in which a man, John, struggles to find the "Place of the Gods", following the beliefs and customs of his people, the hill people. John, and his people, believe that dead people are truly gods. gulaghasi [49]
It is Sam Border if you didn't know. To know what a main character is it is the character who is talked about throughout the whole book and/or is on the cover on the book. It is a strategy to know the main character(s) of the book. I hope this helps.
