Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1:  List out all of the formulas for the trigonometric functions </u>

<em>sin(x)</em> = opposite/hypotenuse

<em>cos(x)</em> = adjacent/hypotenuse

<em>tan(x)</em> = opposite/adjacent

<u>Step 2:  Find the values for the given numbers </u>

sin(J) = opposite/hypotenuse = <em>24/25 </em>

tan(J) = opposite/adjacent =<em> 24/7 </em>

sin(K) = opposite/hypotenuse = <em>7/25 </em>

tan(K) = opposite/adjacent = <em>7/24 </em>

<u>Step 3:  Check if the answers match </u>

24/25 = 24/25 So it is TRUE

24/7 != 7/25 So it is FALSE

7/25 != 24/25 So it is FALSE

7/24 = 7/24 So it is TRUE

Answer: TRUE, FALSE, FALSE, TRUE

Complete the function table. Then write a rule for the function.
creativ13 [48]
I worked the problem by hand. First I used the equation y=mx+b to find the rule for the function. To find m which is the same as the slope you use the change in y divided by the change in x. Or the change in output divided by the change in input. The two points or coordinates used were (-2,-4) and (1,-1). Once you have the slope you use y=mx+b and substitude y by any value of y (-4 or -1) and m is the slope calculated and x would be the corresponding x to the y value used (if -4 was chosen for y then -2 would be used for x). This will be used to calculate b.

2. Simplify.<br> 10(x + 2)(x – 3)<br> 5(2 – 3)(x + 6)
nignag [31]

Answer:

If the first one, 10x² - 10x - 60. For the second one, -5x - 30

Step-by-step explanation:

10(x + 2)(x – 3)

10(x²- x -6)

10x² - 10x - 60

5(2 – 3)(x + 6)

5(2x + 12 - 3x -18)

5(-x -6)

-5x - 30

sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:12 (2v-7)

Step-by-step explanation: You have to find The GCF which  is 12.THen you do 24v divide 12 which is 2v and do 84 divide 12 which is 7.Now put GCF which is 12 ,then write (,next write 2v - 7 .

Hope it helps :)
