I chose the first sentence, sorry but I am not going to write the whole thing

What does it mean:

I am definintly the best at history, so if someone else answers maybe take their answer but here's what I think(51% of myself thinks that I don't have the right answer but eh): The people won a battle, and the constitoution  proves/confirms that this happened because people had confidence in themselves in their courage, skills, and discipline. These people are seafearing men, achieving protecters of their insulted flag and injured rights. Something like that. Hopefully it is correct.

The RAF ( Britain Royal Air Force)

This period was where battle was fought in the air. It was  a battle between the British Royal Air Force and the Luftwaffe ( Nazi German Air Force) in 1940.The plane pilots of both the Raf and the  Luftwaffe took to the air to battle each other out with their war plane in battle for the control of the air space in Germany,English Channel and Britain.
