Answer:

2550yards

Step-by-step explanation:

Perimeter of a rectangle = 2L + 2W

L is the length

W is the width

If perimeter of a rectangle is 425 yards, then;

425 = 2L + 2W

425 = 2(L+W)

L+W = 425/2 .... 1

If the length and width of the rectangle are each multiplied by 6

P = 6(2L) + 2(2W)

P = 12L + 12W

P = 12(L+W) .... 2

Substitute 1 into 2

P = 12(425/2)

P = 6*425

P = 2550yd

Hence the perimeter of new triangle is 2550yards

A family has traveled 114 miles of a planned trip. This is 37% of the total distance they must travel on the trip. Find, correct
denis23 [38]

Answer:

The total distance they will travel on their trip is 308 miles.

Step-by-step explanation:

This question can be solved using a rule of three.

114 miles is 37% = 0.37. How many mines are 100% = 1?

114 miles - 0.37

x miles - 1

0.37x = 114

x = \frac{114}{0.37}

x = 308.11

Rounding to the nearest mile

The total distance they will travel on their trip is 308 miles.

Find the missing endpoint if S is the midpoint of RT

R(-9,4) and S(2,-1) ; Find T
liraira [26]

Answer:

T is at (13,-6)

Step-by-step explanation:

x-coordinate of T: from -9 to 2, there's 11 units, so you add 11 to 2 to find the x-coordinate of T, which is 13.

y-coordinate of T: from 4 to -1 there's -5 units, so you subtract 5 from -1 to find the y-coordinate of T, which is -6.
