Answer:

Yes.

Explanation:

Yes, Identifying an individual's genetically influenced health risks could increase their potential to achieve optimal health because necessary steps can be taken in order to prevent the disease from more spreading and cause damaged to the body. Identification of genetical disease can be prevented to cause damage if the factors that triggers the disease can be avoided so we can conclude that identification of genetically influenced health risks can increase the chances of getting good health.

Margarita [4]

Question:

Solution (explanation):

Greenhouse gases are those gases that accumulate in the Earth's atmosphere and absorb infrared energy from the Sun. This creates the so-called greenhouse effect, which contributes to the increase in the global temperature of the planet. Now, the higher the concentration of greenhouse gases, the greater the retention of heat. These extra gases increase the natural greenhouse effect and cause global warming which leads to a global change in the climate.

Answer: we can conclude that the correct answer is:

Greenhouse gases

A male bird has a genetic mutation that influences its mating behavior. This male bird performs a ritualistic dance that is very
mafiozo [28]

Answer:

This is a case of natural selection

Explanation:

Mutations are a fundamental part of the process of evolution by natural selection. These are a random genetic modifications that occur on every organism - some are beneficial and others could be harmful or disadvantageous. Therefore, natural selection decides which mutations will stay on a population and which ones will be eliminated.

In this scenario, this mutation enables the male bird to carry out better mating rituals, therefore it would be considered beneficial as it helps the species to reproduce and survive. So, it will be passed on from generation to generation, making other individuals fit for survival.

How can the lymph system reduce the spread of cancer?
Lady bird [3.3K]

The answer is; A

In the lymph vessels,  a few lymphocytes ‘ patrol’ the tissues as they scan for antigens. When they detect an antigen, including surface antigens of rogue cells (cancer cells), the antigen-presenting cells (APCs) present this to the cognate lymphocytes turning them to effector cells (such as effector T-cells). The effector T- cells bind to the cancer cells and induce apoptosis.

While testing for biological macromolecules in an unknown, you find that it reacts strongly with iodine and the solution immedia
True [87]

The macromolecule must be starch.

Explanation:

Starch is a polymer of Glucose joined by glycosydic bond.

Starch is the main energy storage substance in green plants.

Starches react with iodine and give a bluish black or black color and thus iodine test is considered as a confirmatory test for starches.

In this experiment ,the solution turns very dark black on addition of iodine so we can be sure that the solution contained starch.

What organelle does “Pompe Disease” affect in the cell, and how does this disease affect someone’s life?
lana [24]
Pompe is a disease in which u have a defect in the lysosome (an organelle found in every eukaryotic cell). The gene should be making a certain enzyme but it doesn't. This causes things to build up in cells that shouldn't be there. This type if disease is progressive and can be fatal. The treatment for this disease is very expensive. A person would need enzyme replacement therapy...which is not cheap. It will drastically affect a person's life. One can have progressive muscle weakness (where they require a walker or wheel chair), respiratory problems (where a breathing tube might be needed) , and heart defects.
