C.
Meanwhile, his editor in New York City could hardly wait to read the finished product.

Why? Because meanwhile is a transition phrase, and after meanwhile you see New York. Which would be a shift in time since they’re different time zones.
Hope I helped!

What are collocations?

Collocations are words or phrases that are often used together. For example, the phrase "look forward" is followed by "to" and a verb in the gerund. Thus, "look forward to ...-ing" is a collocation.

The good thing about collocations is that they sound right or natural. If you say something it sounds off, that means the collocation is wrong. For example, saying "worried in" does not sound okay. The correct collocation would be "worried about."

Taking that into consideration, we can conclude that the answer provided above is correct.

                          Frozen Daggers

She wore an angered expression paired with blue eyes sharp as frozen daggers.

Not worried about piercing you,

but rather how much you'd bleed.

Daggers that killed countless lives on a cold winter day.

Daggers that have been cleaned of blood by simply dipping them in the snow.

Making the knife as cold as the heart of the person who used it.

Daggers that killed ones it loved and cherished.

Daggers that show no mercy.

Daggers that stained the clean snow red that winter's evening.

Though the dagger wasn't kind, the winter day was.

Children played in the white flakes.

People built innocent snowmen.

Along with that they also built bonds and memories.

They built things they loved and not too soon after, lost.

Everyone played in the snow and built bonds no matter how different they were.

The winter day brought them together with to intention of taking them apart.

The winter loved them.

The winter thrived off of their happiness.

Joy was its source of life.

This is why her daggers are frozen.

She is the kindest soul to exist.

Yet she is not to be underestimated or you might just end up cut.
