Answer:

x = 16

y = 116

Step-by-step explanation:

Given is a figure of isosceles trapezoid. One pair of opposite sides are parallel and non-parallel sides acts as it's transversals.

Therefore,

4x° + (6x + 20)° = 180° ( interior angles on the same side of transversal)

(6x + 20 + 4x)° = 180°

(10x + 20)° = 180°

10x + 20 = 180

10x = 180 - 20

10x = 160

x = 160/10

x = 16

Measure of base angles of an isosceles trapezoid are equal.

Therefore,

y° = (6x + 20)°

y = 6x + 20

y = 6*16 + 20

y = 96 + 20

y = 116

How to write in number form and answer the sum of two times x and one is at least 11
bazaltina [42]
Sum= addition
times= multiplication
at least= ≥

"At least" means the left side of the equation cannot be any less than 11. The left side will be at least/at minimum 11.

2x + 1 ≥ 11
subtract 1 from both sides

2x ≥ 10
divide both sides by 2

x ≥ 5

ANSWER: x ≥ 5; x is greater than or equal to (or "at least") 5

Hope this helps! :)
