Answer:

Negative -5 would counteract both negatives and turn into five so five would be greater than -9 negative of a negative and positive so in real life this would just be saying I had this money instead of I did not have this money or I owe this money -9 mean you would owe so if we were talking fruits or oranges perhaps the negatives of —5 oranges would just be five oranges which is more than owing nine oranges which is -9

Help!!

In the given figure, ∆ABC is congruent to ∆XYZ, find the value of "a".
crimeas [40]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent.

So, XY = AB

3a - 3.9 = 1.7a - 1.3

3a          = 1.7a - 1.3 + 3.9

3a          = 1.7a + 2.6

3a -1.7a = 2.6

     1.3a = 2.6

         a = 2.6/1.3

a = 2

ΔABC ≅ ΔXYZ

First two letter

AB = XY

Second and third letters

BC = YZ

Third and first letter

CA = ZX

Which triangles are congruent?plz help!!!!.
Diano4ka-milaya [45]
The right answer is triangles ABC and MNO. Congruent triangles are triangles that have the same lengths of its three sides. To get the length of each side, use the distance formula with equation:
d =  \sqrt{( x_{2} -  x_{1}) ^{2}  +( y_{2} - y_{1} )^2 }

ABC and MNO have the same segment lengths of its correspoding sides:
AB = MN = 8 units
BC = NO = 6 units
AC = MO = 10 units

−1.64 as a mixed number in simplest form.
liraira [26]
Convert to a mixed number by placing the numbers to the right of the decimal over 100. Reduce the fraction. Then, convert the mixed number to an improper fraction by multiplying the denominator by the whole number and adding the numerator to get the new numerator. Place this new numerator over the original denominator.
