Answer:

prostaglandins

Explanation:

Prostaglandins are eicosanoids (i.e. lipids) derived from arachidonic acid and related fatty acids. Prostaglandins are synthesized by many tissues in the body when they are damaged or infected in order to deal with such injuries/infections. They are hormone-like compounds involved in pain and inflammation. It is well known that the levels of prostaglandins change in the menstrual cycle of women, producing vasoconstriction of the endometrial vessels during menstruation and contraction of the muscles in the myometrium. High prostaglandin levels are characteristic of severe menstrual cramps.

ddd [48]
There are several ways to treat or cope with presbycusis (age-related hearing loss). Here are some of ways:
1. Hearing Aid(s)
2. Implants (Cochlea, Middle ear) - involves surgical operation
3. Lip reading or speech reading training
4. Hearing assistive devices - sound amplifying devices (cellphones, tablets, etc.)

It would be best to refer to an audiologist or otolaryngologist to for extensive diagnostic evaluation of the gravity of hearing loss and seek proper medical treatment.
