Answer:

Crystic fibrosis is an autosomal recessive disorder/disease. It is the resultant of a mutated copy in a gene. Both copies must have a mutation present in the CFTR gene to have crystic fibrosis. If only one copy is mutated, they are carriers and do not have cf or crystic fibrosis themselves.

During dehydration synthesis is 42 water molecules were made how many monosaccharides were joined together to make the complex c
netineya [11]

Answer:

43 monosaccharides will be joined together to make the complex carbohydrate.

Explanation:

The complex carbohydrates are synthesized by the joining of monosaccharide residues by glycosidic linkages. One glycosidic linkage joins two monosaccharide residues by the elimination of one molecule of water.

In other words it can be said that elimination of one water molecule joins two monosaccharides.By the same way elimination of 42 molecules of water will result in the joining of 43 monosaccaride residues.

What is the most important distinction between the membrane transporters known as channel proteins and those known as carrier pr
-Dominant- [34]

Answer:

Channel proteins form hydrophilic channels to passively transport substances down the concentration gradient.

Carrier proteins bind to substances to transport them actively against the concentration gradient. They do not form channels.

Explanation:

Channel proteins are the membrane proteins that serve in transport of small polar molecules and/or ions by making a hydrophilic pore across the membrane. These molecules diffusion through the pore and exhibit facilitated diffusion.

Carrier proteins are the membrane proteins that transport the substances across the membrane by binding to them. They do not form the hydrophilic channels. Carrier proteins serve in the active transport of molecules against the concentration gradient.

Show a diagram of how ions are formed when a sodium atom comes into close
Firdavs [7]

Answer:

The diagram is attached below.

Explanation:

when sodium and chlorine comes close together they form anion and cation. The compound formed is called sodium chloride.

Both atoms bonded together through ionic bond.

Ionic bond:

It is the bond which is formed by the transfer of electron from one atom to the atom of another element.

Both bonded atoms have very large electronegativity difference. The atom with large electronegativity value accept the electron from other with smaller value of electronegativity.

For example:

Sodium chloride is ionic compound. The electronegativity of chlorine is 3.16 and for sodium is 0.93. There is large difference is present. That's why electron from sodium is transfer to the chlorine. Sodium becomes positive and chlorine becomes negative ion.
