Answer: 0.1310

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : Mean : \mu = \text{131 millimeters}

Standard deviation :  \sigma = \text{7 millimeters}

Sample size : n=31

To find the probability that the sample mean would differ from the population mean by more than 1.9 millimeters i.e. less than 129.1 milliliters and less than 132.9 milliliters.

The formula for z-score :-

z=\dfrac{x-\mu}{\dfrac{\sigma}{\sqrt{n}}}

For x = 129.1 milliliters

z=\dfrac{129.1-131}{\dfrac{7}{\sqrt{31}}}\approx-1.51

For x = 132.9 milliliters

z=\dfrac{132.9-131}{\dfrac{7}{\sqrt{31}}}\approx1.51

The P-value= P(x1.51)

=2P(z>1.51)=2(1-P(z

Hence, the required probability = 0.1310

You rent an apartment that costs $1500 per month during the first year, but the rent
belka [17]
<h3>Answer:</h3>

\begin{cases}a_1 = 1500\\a_n = 140+a_{n-1}\end{cases}

==============================

Explanation:

a_1 = 1500 means the first term is 1500, ie this is the first rent value.

To get the next term, we add on $140

So

a_2 = 140+a_1 = 140+1500 = 1640

and

a_3= 140+a_2= 140+1640 = 1780

and so on.

In general, the nth term a_n is found by adding 140 to the term just before it a_{n-1}

So that's where a_n = 140+a_{n-1} comes from.
