How the rhythms, timbres, melodic, and harmonic materials are combined in a composition. They can be considered "thick" if there
yulyashka [42]

Answer:

Music incorporates all of the following factors already listed. Melodies are the principal aspect of a composition. It uses rhythm and pitches to make consonance, a pleasant timbre, or in other words to make a good sound. Generally, in music, harmony refers to chord structure, and most chord structures are based of scales and uses diatonic notes to make chord progressions that sound rather pleasant. If it doesn't use the notes within that certain scale. It would be considered atonal, or non-diatonic. The usage of atonality was most used during the 20th Century where that musical period was used for exploration and breaking the boundaries of music. In terms of "thick", it would mean there are many parts in the music, or in other words, it would be considered polyphonic, or homophonic.

I hoped this helps :)

PLEASE ASAP! If you examine a diminished second on a piano keyboard, how many ½ steps will you find between the interval pitches
qaws [65]

Answer:

Because it consists of two half steps. If you look at a keyboard, you can see that there is a note in between these two notes.

Explanation:

You can count any number of whole steps or half steps between notes; just remember to count all sharp or flat notes (the black keys on a keyboard) as well as all the natural notes (the white keys) that are in between. Example 4.2. The interval between C and the F above it is 5 half steps, or two and a half steps.

I hope this somewhat helped. Try and not to focus so much on the white key notes on the keyboard ^^
