A science teacher wants to use a line graph to model the relationship between the concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere and the
natali 33 [55]

Answer:

A)

global temperature increasing as CO2 concentration increases

Explanation:

Global warming is the progressive increase in the temperature of the earth's atmosphere. Global warming is caused by an increase in the concentration of greenhouse gases e.g CO2, chlorofluorocarbons etc. These greenhouse gases, in which carbondioxide is an important example, are capable of trapping heat in order to keep the earth warm.

Howeever, as the concentration of CO2 and other greenhouse gases increase in the atmosphere, the earth's atmospheric temperature also increases above normal, causing Global warming.

In this case, the science teacher's graph will show that global temperature is increasing as CO2 concentration increases.

Explain what TWO forces cause Earth’s water to bulge?
Monica [59]

Answer:

Gravity and inertia act in opposition on the Earth's oceans, creating tidal bulges on opposite sites of the planet. On the “near” side of the Earth (the side facing the moon), the gravitational force of the moon pulls the ocean's waters toward it, creating one bulge.

Please help!!!! 3 challenges or problems with dna testing. Fully explain.
SOVA2 [1]

Answer:

Although the process of DNA testing provides promising results in the forensic department, it still has certain limitations. Some of the problems with DNA testing are:

1) It takes a lot of time to process a single piece of DNA. Along with time, this process is also very expensive.

2) Some critics consider DNA as a violation of ethics. This is because not all of the suspects are culprits. And the blood of all of the suspects is taken to determine a single culprit. Some people consider it unethical for taking the blood of the suspects as humanism is against it.

3) Some countries are working on making DNA databanks, where they will be able to simply compare the sample taken from a crime scene with the DNA databank. In this way, they will easily be able to identify the culprit. This process is again considered to be unethical besides the large amount of money that will be used to create such a large databank.

a single stranded dna (oligonucleotides) can hybridize with (select one): select one: a. complementary dna b. complementary rna
garri49 [273]

A single stranded DNA (oligonucleotides) can hybridize with (d) both complementary DNA and complementary RNA.

DNA is the Deoxyribonucleic Acid. It is the genetic material present in majority of organisms. The nitrogenous bases present in DNA are: Adenine, thymine, Guanine and Cytosine. DNA is a double stranded structure hence it forms hydrogen bonds with a complementary strand. The complementary strand can be of a DNA or RNA.

RNA is the Ribonucleic Acid. It also is a genetic material present in very few organisms. RNA is less stable than the DNA and may be either single stranded or double stranded. The nitrogenous bases of RNA are: Adenine Uracil, Guanine and Cytosine.
