A sign language is a type of language in which people use their hands, faces, and bodies to communicate. While ASL is the main s

ign language used by deaf communities in the United States and parts of Canada, its use is not limited to that population. In fact, ASL is a valuable language for many hearing people to learn. One way learning American Sign Language is invaluable is because it makes communication possible for many different people. For instance, some people who can hear but cannot speak, or have difficulty speaking, find ASL very useful. And many hearing people who have friends or family members who are hearing impaired often learn ASL to better understand or be understood by their loved ones It's also uplifting to learn American Sign Language because it is a very rich, complex language. The shape, placement, and motion of the hands, as well as facial expressions and body movements all play an important part. They give the language beauty.

The answer is "In fact, ASL is a valuable language for many hearing people to learn"

This sentence states the main point. Hich type of helping verb can be ued to indicate a mood or tone of a verb in a entence?
jolli1 [7]

Modal helping verbs can be used to indicate a mood or tone of a verb in a sentence.

A modal assisting verb affects the main verb in this sense by expressing necessity or possibility. The modal verbs include can, could, may, and might. Modal verbs, often referred to as modal auxiliaries, are used to express the concepts of capability, likelihood, necessity, permission, and duty. These verbs never change their form.

An auxiliary verb known as a modal verb is used to indicate modalities, which are the states or "modes" in which a thing can exist. Examples of modalities are a possibility, ability, prohibition, and necessity. The modal verbs should, must, will, might, and could are a few typical examples.

Modal verbs are most usually employed in academic writing to denote logical possibility and least frequently used to denote permission. For each of the eight tasks that modal verbs can serve in academic writing, they are enumerated and ranked from strongest to weakest.

In the movie Soul, What did Dorothea mean when she said, "I heard this story about a fish. He swims up to this older fish and sa
Lilit [14]

Answer:

The tale about the fish is a metaphorical story that Dorothea used to talk about Joe and his need to stop his 'tunnel-vision’ and focus on things around him too. Joe thought playing with Dorothea will be 'different' and would make him famous and rich, but that wasn't the case. He was still the same Joe, riding the same subway, leading the same life. In fact, nothing ever changed, which confused him.

Explanation:

The Pixar movie "Soul" is not only a beautiful animated movie but also a deeply thought-provoking movie dealing with existentialism and the importance of one's life aims.

In the movie, Joe Gardner was and his only goal was to play alongside the famous jazz artist Dorothea Williams. And in this desire, he forgot to think of his other relationships, be it with friends or families. His sight was just a one-way tunnel, with Dorothea at the end of the tunnel.

When Dorothea told him about the fish, she is using a metaphorical tale to tell Joe about how it is important to be aware of the surroundings. Joe had believed that playing with Dorothea will be 'different, but when he actually played for her and he felt nothing different or 'great', he was confused. He did not even know how or what to do next after he had 'achieved' his goal. So, Dorothea's story is about Joe and his tunnel vision that blinded him to other things around him.
