Answer:

Travis will have $23,122.59 in his account at the end of seven years

Explanation:

Future value is the compounded value calculated using a specific time and specific rate too.

To calculate the balance after seven years use the following formula

Future value = Present value x ( 1 + periodic interest rate )^numbers of periods

Where

Future value = Balance after 7 years = ?

Periodic interest rate = 4% x 3/12 = 1%

Numbers of periods = 7 years x 12/3 = 28 periods

Placing values in the formula

Balance after 7 years = $17,500 x ( 1 + 1% )^28

Balance after 7 years = $23,122.59

padilas [110]

Answer:

the value of the short forward contract is -0.49

Explanation:

the computation of the value of the short forward contract is shown below:

= (Delivery price - current forward price)× e^(risk free interest rate × no of months ÷ total number of months)

= ($42.25 - $42.75)× e^(-7.90% × 4÷12)

= -0.49

Hence, the value of the short forward contract is -0.49

Therefore the same should be considered

Answer:

Explanation:

Dear Y,

How are you? I hope you are well. I received your letter two days ago. But I could not answer in time because of my illness.

On last Saturday I went to school as usual. When I was returning home, it started rain. As I was in the way, there was no place to take shelter. As a result I got drenched. Soon after reaching home, I started coughing. I caught acute cold fever by night. Since then, I have been suffering from fever. Father took me to a doctor. But the doctor said that it would take at least 5 days to get cured. So, I am in bed now.

No more today. Take care of you and don’t move while it’s raining. Please pay a visit to our house if possible. Waiting for your reply.

Your loving friend

A. the government often uses excise taxes, called "sin taxes," to manipulate consumption of cigarettes. draw and label the shift
sukhopar [10]
The amount of sin tax that will be paid by all of the mentioned parties will depend per country. In fact, in the US, sin tax may even differ per state so the price of consumers and producers will already factor in the percentage of sin tax that they will pay. As to why it will most likely not reduce the consumption, this is because these vices are generally addictive and already serve as habits for some people. Because of this, people will most likely not decrease their consumption significantly since they continuously look for it. In fact, they will be willing to pay more to get it.
