Find L.C.M that when we multiply we get last number that is -14 and when we add or subtract we get the middle number. And that is (-7,2)

Put it into where the -5x is given us

x²- 7x+2x-14=0

You then factorise given us

(x²-7x)(+2x-14)=0

x(x-7)+2(x-7)

(x+2)(x-7)=0

x+2=0

x=-2

(x-7)=0

x=7
