Personally, I believe that people of colored who have suffered at the hands of American imperialism shouldn't celebrate the fourth of July. The fourth of July is a civil holiday that celebrates the anniversary of the beginnings of national independence. This country doesn't include independence, nationality or fairness. This country is a fake because if the country was "the land of the free and the home of the brave." How come colored people are still being looked down on and treated differently, How come colored people are disrespected like the dirt that their ancestors slave on. But they're free.
