First, you have to do the multiplication first because pemdas
so 4/23 x (-34) = -136/23
so then do the equation 5 + (-136/23)
after you do that equation the final answer is -21/23

Graph the linear equation. Find three points that solve the equation, then plot on the graph. -3x+2y=2
aleksandrvk [35]

First you need to put the equation into slope form which is y = mx + b

-3x + 2y = 2

2y = 3x + 2

y = 1.5x + 1

In this equation the y-intercept is 1 and the slope is 1.5 or 3/2.

To graph the line you can start at the y-intercept then move up 3 and to the right 2 or down 3 and to the left 2.

Three points are (2, 4) , (-2 ,-2), (4, 7).

Hope this helps! Mark as Brainliest please! :)))

Working simultaneously and independently at an identical constant rate, 4 machines of a certain type can produce a total of x un
erastova [34]

Answer:

18 machines

Step-by-step explanation:

Data provided in the question:

It takes 4 machines 6 days to produce x units

Therefore,

it will take 4 machines 18 days to produce 3x units

let it takes Y machines 4 days to produce 3x units

Thus,

4 × (18 days) = 3x   .............(a)

Y × (4 days) = 3x  .............(b)

equating equation a and b, we get

or

4 × (18 days) = Y × (4 days)

or

Y = 18

Hence,

18 machines are required to produce a total of 3x units of product P in 4 days

If the sides of the frame that form a right angle are a = 15in. and b = 8 in., what measurement (the hypotenuse) should the fram
Sloan [31]

Answer:

17 in.

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the two sides (other than the hypotenuse) are given as

a = 15 in

b = 8 in

Using Pythagorean Theorem, we can calculate the length of the hypotenuse as

c^ {2} =a^{2} + b^{2}

c^{2} = (15)^{2} + (8) ^{2}

c^{2} =289

Taking square-root on both sides, we get

c = 17 in.

Hence, the frame-maker would read the measurement as 17 in on the yardstick.
