Answer:

The formula for an exponential decay problem is: y = x (1 - r)^x

Where x = initial amount, r = rate of decay and x = # time periods

So, x = $258, r = 8% = .08 and x = 11 years

y = 258 (1 - 0.08)^11 = 258 (0.92)^11 = 258 * 0.3996 = $103.10

Difference between compounded annually, monthly and daily.
zvonat [6]

Answer:

With monthly compounding, the bank will calculate interest on your account just once per month. It will not update your balance on a daily basis when it calculates how much interest it owes you. Assuming that the APR is the same, accounts with monthly compounding offer a lower APY than accounts with daily compounding.

Ifinity stones what are they
WINSTONCH [101]

Answer:

infinity stones are from the mcu franchise (marvel universe) and they are gems that represent different aspects of existence. There are 6 of them and they represent the Mind, Power, Reality, Soul, Space, and Time. These gems posses a lot of power (a lot is an understatement) and in the wrong hands, they are deadly to the existence of humans. I won't go into the details of infinity war/endgame since that is technically spoiling.

If the estimate of expected population proportion having a desired characteristic based on intuition is 60 percent and the accep
Anika [276]

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

Our values are:

N = 100,000 (We assume it)

Proportion is p = 0.6

Margin of error (E) = 0.05

confidence-level (cl) = 0.95

Z-value = 1.96

We need to approach through Proportion,

n=\frac{ (z_2 * p *q) + ME_2}{ME_2 + z_2 * p * q / N}

Substituting,

n = \frac{(1.962*0.6*0.4)+0.052}{0.052 + \frac{1.962 * 0.6 * 0.4}{100000}}

n= \frac{(3.841 * 0.24)+0.0025}{0.0025+\frac{3.841*0.24}{100000}}

n =\frac{ 0.9243}{0.002509}

n= 368

Show work plz
Mazyrski [523]
So first we need to get rid of that naughty sales tax so we need to divide 30.45 by 1.05 since 30.45 is 105% of the pre-tax price. We get the answer of 29 and subtract 12 from 29 since the long fleece socks cost 12 bucks and we get 17 dollars. Since there are 2 pairs of regular songs we divide 17 by 2 and get 8.5

So the regular socks cost $8.50

Checking work 8.5*2=17
12+17=29
1.05*29=30.45
