In terms of labor law and employment discrimination, disparate treatment is defined as an unequal behaviour towards someone because of a "protected characteristic" this means an individual's gender, race, religion, age, etc...
Employees are protected by the law which prevents employers from treating the employees different because of any of the protected characteristics in order to prevent any kind of discrimination. In Kansamb Residential School when they refuse to recruit teaching staff that practices other religions even when they meet the hiring requirements they are giving an unequal behaviour because of a protected characteristic therefore giving disparate treatment.
Theory is referred to as a system or supposition of notion or ideas that were intended in order to explain something, especially the ones that are based on principles which are independent of things required to be explained. Whereas a hypothesis is known as the proposed or put forth explanation for a process or phenomenon. A hypothesis is referred to as a scientific hypothesis if the method that is scientific can be tested.
