If the force exerted on a sled is 100 N and the mass of the sled is 50 kg, what is the acceleration of the sled?
Anna35 [415]

Answer;

acceleration= 2 m/s²

Explanation;

From the second Newton's Law of motion the resultant force is directly proportional to the rate of change in momentum.

That is;

F = ma

Thus; F = 100 N, m = 50 kg

a = F/m

 = 100/50

 = 2 m/s²

In areas where the walls are frequently washed, conduit should be mounted with a ___ inch air space between the wall and the con
Over [174]

In areas where the walls are frequently washed, conduit should be mounted with a 1/4 inch air space between the wall and the conduit.

Conduits are the structures that are hollow and cylindrical like a pipe, channel or tube through which any material can pass. The material can be electrical wires, gases or even water. Therefore, the functions of conduits is to mediate the transport of materials from one place to another.

These conduits can be rigid or flexible depending upon their use and the material to be transported. Care should be taken when these conduits are embedded inside the wall that they are not very close and in contact with the wall otherwise the conduits may get damaged.

Arrange the events in the correct order to describe how the magnetic field forms around Earth.
horsena [70]
The correct sequence of events is : C,D,B,A.
Iron rich magma in the earth's core heats up because of radiation and the pressure exerted by the other layers of the earth. This heat in the crust trigger convection currents in the mantle. The magma closest to the core will be hotter and therefore less dense than other layers. Being less dense the layer will rise towards the crust, eventually becoming cooler and sinking back down in a circular motion.
The continued circular motion creates electric currents which then generates the magnetic field.
