Answer:when I think about how the U.S. Constitution affects my daily life, I start with the Bill of Rights rather than the structure of government, and I usually do not get beyond the First Amendment. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees the rights to freedom of speech and of the press, to peaceably assemble and to petition the government for redress of grievances. These guarantees affect me every day and empower me as a citizen seeking to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

What is the most likely reason the author mentions problems in the publishing industry in paragraph 1? Support your answer with
nata0808 [166]

Considering the passage's content, the most likely reason the author mentions problems in the publishing industry in a paragraph is to let the reader know that "<u>there is still opportunity in the publishing industry despite current problems."</u>

Here, the author is trying to let the reader knows that currently, there are problems that need to be solved in the publishing industry. However, despite these problems, there is abundant opportunity in the publishing industry.

This was revealed when the author said that "<em><u>Despite reports to the contrary, this is a great time to be in publishing</u></em>."

Hence, in this case, it is concluded that the correct answer is "<u>there is still opportunity in the publishing industry despite current problems."</u>

Hawthorne uses his characters to express some of his own ideas about Puritans and about his own society, which is rooted in Puri
pochemuha

Two specific ways in which Dimmesdale foils Hester are:

  • Where she is strong, he is weak
  • Where she is shamed publicly - he is honored publicly

<h3>What is Puritanism?</h3>

This refers to the religious sect that rebelled against the English Monarchy and broke out to become independent and had certain beliefs that were aligned with that of Christ.

Hence, we can see that based on the beliefs of Hawthorne, he is said to be a transcendentalist and as such does not believe in the Puritan ways of self-denial and predestination.
