Sum of the interior angles of any triangle equal 180° .

Thus ;

The angle which facing to the side 4 is 45°.

Hint :

In a right triangle, the side facing the 45° angle is √2 / 2 times the hypothenuse .

Thus ;

\frac{ \sqrt{2} }{2} x = 4 \\

Multiply sides by 2

2 \times  \frac{ \sqrt{2} }{2} x = 2 \times 4 \\

\sqrt{2} x = 8 \\

Divide sides by √2

\frac{ \sqrt{2}x }{ \sqrt{2} }  =  \frac{8}{ \sqrt{2} }  \\

x =  \frac{4 \times 2}{ \sqrt{2} }  \\

x =  \frac{4 \times  \sqrt{2} \times  \sqrt{2}  }{ \sqrt{2} }  \\

x = 4 \sqrt{2}  \\

x = hypothenuse = 4 \sqrt{2}

What is the mass of an object if it takes a net force of 32 N to accelerate
Sonbull [250]

We will find the answer using the second law of motion i.e. Force is equal to the product of mass and acceleration.

\sf \: F=ma

Where,

  • F is force
  • M is mass
  • A is acceleration

In our case,

  • F = 32 N
  • A = 0.88m/s
  • M = ?

Let's solve for M ~

\tt \: 32 = m \times 0.88

\tt \: 32 = 0.88m

\tt \: 0.88m = 32

\tt \: m = 36.36

<em>Thus, The mass of object is 36.36 </em><em>grams</em><em>.</em><em>.</em><em>.</em><em>~</em>

James is participating in a 5-mile walk to raise money for a charity. he has received $200 in fixed pledges and raises $20 extra
Firlakuza [10]
The standard formula of a point-slope equation is (y-y1) = m(x-x1). So, we would arrange the final equation in this way as much as possible. Let y be the total amount her receives and x be the number of miles. That would be

y = 200 + 20x
y = 20 (10 + x)

That would be the equation. If he finishes the walk,

y = 20 (10+5)
y = $300

he would receive a total of $300.
