Can someone help with this question
Reptile [31]
Question # 55

We can see the trend from the given graph. From Monday to Thursday the price kept on decreasing while on Friday it increased. So first the price decreased and then increased.

Therefore, the correct answer to this question is option C. The price decreased at the beginning of the week and then increased at the end of the week.

Question # 56.

The schedule of athlete allows no more than 75 minutes of training. This means the training time is 75 minutes or less. One round of strength training requires 8 minutes. So s rounds of strength training will require 8s minutes. One round of endurance training require 12 minutes, so e rounds of endurance training will require 12e minutes.

The total time of both these trainings can be written as:

8s + 12e

We know that the time can be 75 minutes or lesser. So we can write the inequality as:

8s + 12e ≤ 75

So, option H is the correct answer

Question 57

The given equation is:

2y = - 3(x - 2)

In order to identify the slope we need to write the equation if slope intercept form. When written in slope intercept form, the coefficient of x term is the slope of the line. In order to write in slope intercept form, isolate y on one side as shown below:

2y=-3(x-2) \\  \\
2y=-3x+6 \\  \\
y=- \frac{3}{2}x+3

So, the slope of line is -3/2.

Hence option B is the correct answer

What value could be added to 2/15 to make the sum greater than 1/2
Lera25 [3.4K]
1/2 - 2/15= 15-4/30 = 11/30  this means that if you were to add 11/30 to 2/15 is exactly equal to 1/2, to fully answer your question you can use any value above that like 12/30 (keep in mind you have to simplify) = 6/15 = 2/5. But then again your question says to add any number to make it greater than 1/2 so technically you could just add 100 or 200 or 1/2 to make the sum of it greater than one half
