David was with his fathers army and Goliath was on the other. Goliath's "general" offered a deal to fight one man and if the on man succeeded then his army would surrender. If Goliath one then Davids army had to become slaves. David offered to fight and everyone said no because David was tiny and week. David hopped the wall and ran at Goliath with nothing more than a rock and sling. He threw the rock and it hit Goliath right between the eyes. David was victorious.
