Another precedent was appointing a cabinet. The president needed help and he was able to nominate people to help in his presidency. Lastly, another precedent was appointing judges. The Judicial Brand was new and they had to fill out the empty branch. These were all positive things that helped America

This started in the 1800's and continues on today, as the islands was often under the control of the Spaniards or the United States. Filipino nationalism includes political, social and economic freedom in the country and this was one of the reasons behind the first nationalist revolution in Asia in 1896.

The seasonal flooding that happened readied the land for the next year's crops. Agriculture was necessary for survival, growth, and economics.
