Two proteins associated with a rare neurodegenerative disorder have been sequenced. Protein A contains many polar amino acids wi
GuDViN [60]

Answer:

Protein A can be a cytoplasmic and protein B can be a membrane protein.

Explanation:

The polar amino acid will have the hydrophilic side chain so they provide the hydrophilic nature to protein and thats why usually found on outer surface of water souluble proteins.

Cytoplasm is 80% water, so these proteins usually found in cytoplasm.

The non-polar amino acid will have the hydrophobic side chain and thus provide hydrophobic nature to protein and usually found in interior portion of membrane protein.

Plasma membrane is made up of hydrophobic lipids bilayer, so these proteins are usually found in plasma membrane.

Scientists have discovered that the inner core of Earth is a solid while the outer core is a liquid. What is the cause of this o
Arte-miy333 [17]

Answer:

Scientists figured out that the outer core must be liquid because S waves do not pass through it, but P waves do. The behavior of P and S waves also indicates that the inner core is solid. The speed of seismic waves also depends on the density of the material through which they are traveling.

3. Why is water considered to be a Polar Covalent Molecule?
Finger [1]

Answer:

A polar molecule simply means the charges are uneven throughout the molecule. Some parts are slightly negative (outside the oxygen), and some parts are slightly positive (outside the hydrogen atoms). A covalent bond happens when atoms share their electrons with each other. So, polar covalent just means that the atoms aren't sharing their electrons evenly, creating slight charges in the molecule. Water is polar covalent because the highly electronegative oxygen atom pulls electrons to it, making the region around the oxygen more negative than the areas around the two hydrogen atoms.
