The function would be y = 0.45x, x being the number of seconds, y being the items he can ring up.

For example (this is an example only to show how this equation works), if we were looking at how many items the cashier can ring in 5 seconds, we would make the equation y = 0.45(5), and with multiplication, we can find that they would ring 2.25 items ( y = 2.25 )

If I misunderstood this question or got something wrong, please leave a comment and I can help further.

8. Jasmine is playing a game where she moves a piece on a coordinate grid. Over three turns, she moves her
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

28 units.

Step-by-step explanation:

The distance between two given points (x_{1},y_{1}) and (x_{2},y_{2}) is given by the formula

\sqrt{(x_{1} - x_{2})^{2} + (y_{1} - y_{2})^{2}}

So, the distance between points (-2,-4) and (-1,6) is

\sqrt{(-2 - (- 1))^{2} + (-4 - 6)^{2}} = \sqrt{101} = 10.05 units.

Now, the distance between points (-1,6) and (3,8) is

\sqrt{(-1 - 3)^{2} + (6 - 8)^{2}} = \sqrt{20} = 4.47 units

Again, the distance between the points (-2,-4) and (3,8) is

\sqrt{(- 2 - 3)^{2} + (-4 - 8)^{2}} = 13 units.

Therefore,the perimeter of the triangle is (10.05 + 4.47 + 13) = 27.52 ≈ 28 units. (Approximate)

Find the 13th term of the geometric sequence 6, -30,150
sladkih [1.3K]

Answer:

<h3>             a₁₃ = 1 464 843 750</h3>

Step-by-step explanation:

a_1=6\\a_2=-30\\a_3=150\\\\\dfrac{a_2}{a_1}=\dfrac{-30}{6}=-5\quad\wedge\quad \dfrac{a_2}{a_2}=\dfrac{150}{-30}=-5\quad\implies\ \ q=-5\\\\\\a_n=a_1\cdot q^{n-1}\\\\a_{13}=a_1\cdot q^{12}=6\cdot(-5)^{12}=6\cdot244140625=1464843750

Given the lease terms below, find the total lease cost, assuming that the deposit is nonrefundable.
AlekseyPX
Answer: The total cost of the lease is $12,342.

To find the total cost of the lease, we have to add up all the costs that you will be responsible for.

You will have to pay the down payment, the monthly payment, security deposit and the acquisition fee.

However, don't forget that you have to multiply the monthly payment by 36 months.

1500 + 36(272) + 350 + 700 =12342
