The correct answer is A) slavery.

John Brown was an avid abolitionist who made it his life goal to get rid of the institution of slavery. Brown was a firm believer that the only way to get rid of slavery in the US was through bloodshed. This is why he organized an invasion of a federal arsenal (aka Harper's Ferry). The goal of this invasion was to obtain guns and ammunition to start a nation wide slave rebellion that would result in the destruction of slavery within the US. Ultimately, this raid was unsuccessful and resulted in John Brown being sentenced to death.

How did the Atlantic Charter and the Lend-Lease Act demonstrate Roosevelt's response to the rise of
vodomira [7]

Answer:

The Lend-Lease Act stated that the U.S. government could lend or lease (rather than sell) war supplies to any nation deemed “vital to the defense of the United States.” Under this policy, the United States was able to supply military aid to its foreign allies during World War II while still remaining officially neutral in the conflict. Most importantly, passage of the Lend-Lease Act enabled a struggling Great Britain to continue fighting against Germany virtually on its own until the United States entered World War II late in 1941.
