Answer:

x = 0 , 5

Step-by-step explanation:

\frac{2x}{x-3}=\frac{3x}{x-2}

Cross multiply,

2x* ( x - 2) = 3x *(x - 3)

2x*x - 2*2x  = x*3x - 3*3x

2x² - 4x   = 3x² - 9x

subtract 2x² from both sides

-4x = 3x² - 2x² - 9x           {Combine like terms}

-4x = x² - 9x

Add 9x to both sides

-4x+ 9x = x²

x² = 5x

x² - 5x = 0

x(x - 5) = 0

x = 0  ; x - 5 = 0

                 x = 5

You are preparing a computer presentation to be digitally projected onto the wall of your classroom. Your computer screen is 13.
katrin [286]

Answer:

  The projected image has dimensions 4 times those of the computer screen. The ratio is 1:4.

Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of the projected width to the computer screen width is ...

  (53 in)/(13.25 in) = 4

The ratio of heights is the same:

  (42.4 in)/(10.6 in) = 4

The linear dimensions of the projected image are 4 times those of the computer screen.

___

The way the question is written, you may be expected to write this 1 to 4 ratio as the fraction 1 : 4 or 1/4.

The list of numbers 41, 35, 30, X, Y, 15 has a median of 25. The mode of the list of numbers is 15. To the nearest whole number,
lara [203]

Answer:

C) 26

Step-by-step explanation:

41 , 35,30 , X , Y ,15

Number of data's = 6. So, median will be the average of (\dfrac{6}{2})^{th} \ and \ (\dfrac{6}{2}+1)^{th} \ term . 3 and 4th term

Median = \dfrac{30+X}{2}

\dfrac{30+X}{2}=25\\\\

30 + X = 25*2

30 + X = 50

       X = 50 - 30

X = 20

Mode is 15

So, Y = 15

41,35,30,20,15,15

Mean =\dfrac{41+35+30+20+15+15}{6}= \dfrac{156}{6}=26
