Answer:

I would say the first two and the last one/

Explanation:

I would say one because the government had their security forces arrest people.

I would say two because the government in Egypt detained media protesters.

I would say five because the government of Turkey request that many tweets be removed.

Answer:

"Security forces arrested three people who administered nearly two dozen F*cebook pages."

"It [Egypt] also detained activists who had been involved in prior protests."

"Meanwhile Turkey has made 805 requests for tweets to be removed since 2012."

Explanation:

These three quotations are clear examples of how these Middle East governments have responded to such online content by implementing several measures to censor freedom of expression and criticism in social media regarding their rule. This is very common in such countries which have always based their government in dictatorial principles.

Rewrite the following sentence to use an original absolute phrase. All work must be your own. Use proper spelling and grammar.
posledela

Answer: The way to write the sentence: "The store was freezin" as an absolute frase would be: The store freezing, we need to leave it quickly. Or  We need to leave quickly, the store freezing.

An absolute phrase consists on a phrase that modifies a noun in a sentence, but it is not connected to the sentence by a conjunction. It is separated with a comma only, and it could be removed from the sentence without changing the meaning of the sentence.  An absolute phrase tends to contain a participial.

I don't get this. anybodyyy????

Remark

I see what you mean. It doesn't look like anything has happened in the quoted passage that would suggest he was dead. He is certainly disorientated. You have two choices.

Choice One

"I had not seen him approach, and the sudden appearance made me start." This happens to people all the time when they are concentrating and don't hear or see the things going on around them. But in this particular case, he was only putting a key in a door. That doesn't take much concentration, particularly if you have done this 1000 times before. If you allow me to speculate just a little bit, it sounds like an old fashioned boarding house. It would be hard to sneak up on someone.

Choice Two

Once inside the room, he runs straight to the back room and checks the door, but does not know if it is locked. Then comes back and asks for a favor. It's really odd. It's a hint.
