Answer:

errr polynomials ahaha

so basically we can multiply the power outside of the parantheses with the exponents on the inside:

so

-3x^{2*4} y^{1*4}

this will give us:

-3x^8y^4

we also unfortunately, have to use the power on the coefficient -3 as well  and we cant just MULTIPLY -3 by 4, we are going to have to multiply -3 with -3 4 TIMES(anytime we see a coefficient we MUST multiply the coefficient by itself according to the number outside of the parantheses)

so:

-3*-3*-3*-3=81

final expression

81x^{8}y^{4}

When you have an power outside of a bracket, you have to multiply all the powers inside by the one outside...

So you would get x^2 x ^4 which is x^8

And y x ^4 which would be y^4

Therefore the answer will be -3x^8y^4

Hope this helps! Any questions let me know :)

Vaselesa [24]

Answer:

-3/4 g =x

Step-by-step explanation:

g=-4x/3

Multiply each side by 3

3g = -4/3 x *3

3g = -4x

Divide each side by -4

3/-4 g = -4x/-4

-3/4 g =x

The answer is letter c , because if you multiply the number 4 that is outside with the third power you will get 12 and with the second power you will get 8 and base number stays the same. As an answer you’ll get the same numbers as the expression

PLEASE HELP!!
mixer [17]

There is nothing wrong with Arlene's math. Her answer is correct. The mistake is that she has cited the "associative property" where the "commutative property" should have been cited, and vice versa.

The associative property has to do with where you put parentheses. The commutative property has to do with what order the operands are in.
