Check out the attached images Figure 1 through Figure 4
Figure 1 corresponds to answer choice A
Figure 2 corresponds to B
and so on...

As you can see, we have
* Choice A's angles are corresponding angles BUT they are NOT congruent (due to the fact that BH and CG aren't parallel)

* Choice B has corresponding angles that are congruent
due to the parallel lines given. These angles are on the bottom of each parallel train track and they are on the same side of the transversal. This is why they are corresponding angles. In other words, they are in the same corresponding bottom right corner of each four-corner angle configuration.

* Choice C has alternate exterior angles. The angles are on the outside of the parallel train tracks, and they are on opposite sides of the transversal.

* Choice D has alternate interior angles. They are on the inside of the parallel train tracks, and they are on opposite sides of the transversal.

So the answer is actually choice B

Ryker is given the graph of the function
Lena [83]
You can just set y=0 and solve for x. when you do this you should get 1/2x^2=4
x^2=8
x=2.8 and -2.8 ( you have both a positive number and negative number since (-2.8)^2=(2.8)^2 =8
I hope this helps

Given: Q = 7m 3n, R = 11 - 2m, S = n 5, and T = -m - 3n 8. Simplify R - S T. M - 2n - 2 -3m - 4n 14 3m - 4n 14 -m 2n - 2.
ziro4ka [17]

To solve the algebraic expression, add or subtract the variables with same power of variable.

The result of the given problem after simplifying is,

y=7m+n-6

How to write algebraic expression?

Algebraic expression are the expression which consist the variables, coefficients of variables and constants.

The algebraic expression are used represent the general problem in the mathematical way to solve them.

To solve the algebraic expression, add or subtract the variables with same power of variable.

Given information-

The given numbers are,

Q=7m+3n\\R=11-2m\\S=n+5\\T=-3-3n

All the four number given in the form of unknown number m and n.

The result, need to be find is,

R-S+T+M

Let the result of above expression is y. Thus,

y=R-S+T+M

Put the values to solve it further,

y=(7m+3n)-(11-2m)+(n+5)+(-m-3n)

Solve it further by open the bracket as,

y=7m+3n-11+2m+n+5-m-3n\\y=7m+2m-m+3n+n-3n-11+5\\y=7m+n-6

Hence the result of the given problem after simplifying is,

y=7m+n-6

The measures of three sides of a triangle can be represented by 2x, 3x and -5, and 4x + 2. The perimeter of the triangle is 65 i
Olenka [21]
The sides are 2x, 3x-5 and 4x+2
perimiter is the sum of the sides

a.
2x+3x-5+4x+2=63 is an equation

b.
solve
group like terms
2x+3x+4x-5+2=65
add like terms
9x-3=65
add 3 to both sides
9x=68
divide both sides by 9
x=68/9

2x=2(68/9)=136/9 in
3x-5=3(68/9)-5=(68/3)-5=(68/3)-(15/3)=53/3
4x+2=4(68/9)+2=272/9+2=272/9+18/2=290/9

the side lengths are 136/9in, 53/3in, and 290/9in
