Hi. I'm pretty sure you are supposed to use a compass (that's what I had to use for this math work). So basically what you have to do is for the dividing it in four one first divide it into two and divide those new parts in to four and then you have four equal parts, using a compass and/or straightedge works best. For dividing the segments into three parts measure it maybe with a ruler if you have one and mark the points where it can be equally divided.
