Bison = Pe^-kt
(P is the initial amount of bison, which is 217)
(Also, make 7.5% negative to represenr population decay, not growth. Next, convert 7.5% to decimal form: 7.5/100 = .075)

Solve:

1. Bison = 217e^(-.075)(2)
2. Bison = 186.77 bison,
Since we can’t have .77 of a bison XD) and depending on rounding, you can have 186 or 187 bison!

Good luck!

7.5% of 217 = 16.275

At end of 1 year bisons = 217 - 16.275 = 200.725

7.5% of 200.725 = 15.054375

At end of 2 years bisons = 200.725 - 15.054375 = 185.670625 (Rounding that to the tens)

=186

gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer:

d) They would bind glucocorticoids, and initiate estrogen-dependent synthesis

Explanation:

Both Glucocorticoids and estrogens Hormones have important but distinct physiologic functions. These two hormones belongs to the two classes of steroid hormones. Both of these hormones binds to their specific receptors.

DNA binding domain is the domain that after activation by external factors such as hormones express the specific proteins by binding to specific region of the DNA.

As DNA binding domain of a glucocorticoid receptor is altered with DNA binding domain of estrogen receptor so it means binding site of the glucocorticoid hormone for glucocorticoid receptor remains the same and binds to glucocorticoids but on binding it activates the estrogen DNA binding domain which further binds to specific region in the DNA which initiates estrogen dependent synthesis.

Answer:

B. Plankton are a food source for humans

Plankton is food for many small fish. With the abundance

of Plankton, these fish can thrive. When these smaller fish thrive they are food to bigger fish that we eat. Since the smaller fish thrive then the bigger fish that we eat also thrive. This makes bigger fish an abundant food source due to plankton supporting the smaller fish and other organisms.

What evolutionary
adaptation allowed plants
to grown large and above
water?
Anna35 [415]

Evolutionary adaptations like fertilization, cuticle, stomata, and vascular tissue helps plants to grow on land.

Explanation:

There are various ways through which plants evolved and grown above water. First is that in plants, the embryo develops inside the female body after the process of fertilization. Second, with time, the cuticle helped the plant to seal water and prevent water loss.

Stomata evolved with time to retain water and exchange gases — lastly, the vascular tissue which is responsible for transporting water, food, and nutrients in plants
