Explanation:

The main difference between them is that bolus is more alkaline than chyme because it is exposed to alkaline saliva since food and drink are lowing the pH level of saliva.

The Bolus is considered as food and it is mashed up in our mouth and after that, it is turning into chyme which is digested food in our stomach.
