Answer:

B.) General Zachary Taylor

Explanation:

These are some details that support the answer-

-On April 25, 1846, Mexican cavalry attacked a group of U.S. soldiers in the disputed zone under the command of General Zachary Taylor, killing about a dozen.

-Known as a national war hero for his battles in the Mexican War, Zachary Taylor served in the U.S. Army for nearly 40 years before he was elected as the 12th president of the United States in 1849

-Major General Zachary Taylor earned fame as a commander during the Mexican-American War and was elected president in 1848.

-He was well known for supporting the Mexican war. He was also known as national hero in United States.

This information is gathered from different websites so if you needed to also add details that support the idea I wouldn't reccomend writting the details. You should instead write the details in your own words so it's more convinsng that it was your found information as it could get sriked with plagiarism.

What was the major argument against the Constitution by the Anti-Federalists and what was added to alleviate their fears?
Katen [24]

Answer: Anti-Federalists argued that the Constitution gave too much power to the federal government, which would diminish the rights of the states and of individuals. The Bill of Rights was added to the Constitution to alleviate their fears.

Further detail:

The Anti-Federalists had opposed ratification of the US Constitution. The Articles of Confederation, in place prior to the ratification of the Constitution of the United States of America, had granted stronger authority to the states. Patrick Henry and other Anti-Federalists were concerned about too much power winding up in the hands of the federal government and its executive branch, thus allowing a small number of national elites to control the affairs of the USA. They feared this also would diminish the rights and freedoms of individual citizens.

The Bill of Rights, laid out in the first ten amendments to the Constitution, provided some reassurance to Anti-Federalists after the fight over ratification, because these amendments to the Constitution served to guarantee that individuals' rights would be protected under federal law.

kogti [31]

Answer:

Armenians were massacred by the millions.

Explanation:

Around 1.5 million Armenians were killed during the Armenian Genocide by the Imperial Ottoman Authority. They were killed as a result of an official policy of the Ottomans that consisted in the deportation of millions of Armenias to desertic regions of the Empire, where many of them were used as forced labor, and deprived of basic food, shelter, and sanitation.
