If i had to guess, 19 blocks?
If his home is at (0,0) and he goes to (0,6) that’s 6 blocks. Then he goes to (7,6) which is only 7 more blocks since he was already at (0,6), so now he’s at 13 blocks. Lastly, if he goes from (7,6) to (7,0) that would add 6 more blocks making it 19 blocks.
However there wasn’t a picture included so i’m not sure if you would also add the blocks it took him to get home again. If they want you to include him getting home again then the answer would be 26 blocks, if not 19 blocks.

Select the correct expression for the phrase below.
Arturiano [62]

Answer:

52+p

Step-by-step explanation:

The expression says "add p to 52", so we know that we need to sum two values, one of them is the variable 'p', and the other is the value 52.

So, writing this expression in mathematical terms, we have:

52+p

With this expression, we added p to the number 52.

So the correct answer is the last one (the fifth one)

Help me pleasseeeee!!! its about algebraic properties of limits!
s2008m [1.1K]

\text{Hello there! :)}

3. \sqrt{2} \\\\\text{4.  0}\\\\\text{5.  dne}

\text{To find the overall limit, they must approach the same y-value from each side:}

\\\\3.  \lim_{x \to \frac{\pi }{4} } 2sinx ={\sqrt{2}

\text{Therefore:}\\\\3.  \lim_{x \to \frac{\pi }{4} } f(x)= {\sqrt{2} }

\text{For this question, evaluate the limit from the RIGHT-HAND side:}\\\\4. \lim_{x \to \pi +} f(x)\\\\ \text{Use the equation tanx to evaluate since it involves values greater than \pi:}\\\\

\lim_{x \to \pi +} tanx = 0\\\\\text{So:}\\\\ \lim_{x \to \pi +} f(x) = 0

5.  \\\\\text{Evaluate the overall limit. Make sure both sides approach the same y=value:}\\\\ \lim_{x \to \pi } 2cosx= -2\\\\ \lim_{x \to \pi } tanx = 0\\\\ \text{ Therefore:}\\ \lim_{x \to \pi } f(x) = dne \text{ (Does not exist})
