Menpehtyre Ramesses I (or Ramses) was the founding pharaoh of ancient Egypt's 19th Dynasty. The dates for his short reign are not completely known but the time-line of late 1292–1290 BC is frequently cited as well as 1295–1294 BC.

Nixon's greatest achievement was president was to open diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China.  Before Nixon, the US and China had had no diplomatic relations.  Nixon felt that relations with China could help to put pressure on the Soviet Union.  Therefore, he embarked on a secret intiative to open relations with them.

The British had tons of internal and domestic problems to face their own, so basically from the beginning (early 1600's) they entered into a period of salutary neglect (where they didn't enforce their own laws)
