U count how many zeros are in each of the problems then u multiply the whole number and add the zeros to the end

example 500 x 400 = 200000 because 5 x 4 is 20 and 500 and 400 have 2 zeros each so u add 4 zeros to 20 so 200000

Because you do 5 times 4 just like you would with the first one and just bring the zeros down from the 500 and 400

remember
ln(a^b)=bln(a)
ln(e)=1
so
ln(e^x)=xln(e)=x

1+2e^{x+1}=9
minus \space\ 1 \space\ both \space\ sides
2e^{x+1}=8
divide \space\ both \space\ sides \space\ by \space\ 2
e^{x+1}=4
take \space\ ln \space\ of \space\ both \space\ sides
ln(e^{x+1})=ln(4)
(x+1)ln(e)=ln(4)
x+1=ln(4)
minus \space\ 1 \space\ from \space\ both \space\ sides
x=ln(4)-1
