Answer:

Height education cost that is not paid by parents is $  4590.6

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: cost of a year for associate's degree = $ 8278

           cost of a year for bachelor's degree = $ 14675

To find: Higher education cost that is not paid by parents

Total cost for associate's degree = 8278 × 2 = $ 16556

Total cost for bachelor's degree = 14675 × 2 = $ 29350

Total cost of higher education for 4 years = 16556 + 29350 = $ 45906

According to question,

Amount that parent not pay = \frac{10}{100}\times45906

                                        = 45906 × 0.1

                                        = $ 4590.6

Therefore, Height education cost that is not paid by parents is $ 4590.6

2(8278) + 2(14675) = 16556 + 29350 = 45906.....total cost

u pay 10%....so 10% of 45906....
0.10(45906) = 4590.60 <====

The function shown below was created to track the different intervals of speed that an automobile travels over a period of 28 se
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

1. The car is slowing down at a rate of 2.5mph/s

2. The greatest acceleration is 10 mph/s.

3. In the interval 4s to 16s the speed remains constant and has magnitude 25 mph.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. The deceleration of the car is from 16 seconds to 24 seconds is the slope m of the graph from 16 to 24:

m=\dfrac{\Delta speed }{\Delta time } = \dfrac{5-25}{24-16} =-2.5mph/s

the negative sign indicates that it is deceleration.

2. The automobile experiences the greatest change in speed when the slope is greatest because that is when acceleration/deceleration is greatest.

From the graph we see that the greatest slope of the graph is between 28 and 24 seconds. The acceleration the interval is the slope m:

m= \dfrac{45-5}{28-24}= 10mph/s

3. The automobile experiences no acceleration in the interval 4 s to 16 s—that's the graph is flat.

The speed of the automobile in that interval, as we see from the graph, is 25 mph.

PLEASE HELPPPP I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO THIS
KonstantinChe [14]

Answer:

I'm not an expert here, this is a best guess!

But I would say if there is no chance that of him incurring excess costs of less than $500, then he knows without insurance he'll end up paying at least $500, possibly more out of pocket, without the insurance.

so I would say He ends up spending the least amount out if pocket by going with option A. for $75. that's $75 out of pocket with no deductible and it covers his $500+ in excess costs....B and C would also cover the excess, but would each cost $140 or $275 out of pocket at the end of the day....

with that being said, I'd say it's worth it to buy the insurance....even if he doesn't have any excess costs, he's spent $75 dollars for the peace of mind to know he's covered either way, and if he does incur the excess costs he's spent $75 rather that $500+....Even if the excess charges are only $100, which it says there is no chance of happening, but still, then he's still saved $25 altogether. Unless I'm reading it wrong, Option A saves him the most money either way, and is worth it to buy the insurance!

Find the value of x.
Genrish500 [490]

Answer:

11

Step-by-step explanation:

All angles on a triangle equal 180. 80+60=140.

Now to solve for x, we set it to equal 40 for 180-140.

40=3x+7. 40-7=33

33=3x 33/3=11

x=11
