Answer:

x = 40

Step-by-step explanation:

So a triangle is <u>180 degrees</u>

and thats a right triangle = 90 degrees

you have three corners: 90, 50 & x

90 + 50 + x = 180

140 + x = 180

subtract 140 from both sides

x = 40

hope this helps

Answer:

40 is the asnwer

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Well, first of all we know that all right angles add up to 180 degrees. The degrees shown in the picture are 50, and 90. You can’t see the 90 exactly, but you can tell by that little square, that’s how it shows us!

2. Second step, we add up 60 and 90 which is 140. We got that, now we can subtract this 140 to the 180 to get our answer!

3. 180 – 140 is equal to 40!

4. Therefore, the 3rd angle is 40!

5. Not confident with my ansawer? Proof time!

6. 40 + 50 + 90 = 180

7. Since this all adds up to 180, it is true!

Have a great day!

Which shows the rational expression written using the least common denominator?
aleksandr82 [10.1K]

Answer:

(x + 1)/4x² + 4(x + 1)/4x²

Step-by-step explanation:

x+1/4x² + x+1/x²

The above can be simply as follow:

Find the least common multiple (LCM) of 4x² and x². The result is 4x²

Now Divide the LCM by the denominator of each term and multiply the result with the numerator as show below:

(4x² ÷ 4x²) × (x + 1) = x + 1

(4x² ÷ x²) × (x + 1) = 4(x + 1)

x+1/4x² + x+1/x² = [(x + 1) + 4(x + 1)]/ 4x²

= (x + 1)/4x² + 4(x + 1)/4x²

Therefore,

x+1/4x² + x+1/x² = (x + 1)/4x² + 4(x + 1)/4x²

How do you find the cube root
zvonat [6]
Use a calculator to find the cube root of positive or negative numbers. Given a number x<span>, the cube root of </span>x<span> is a number </span>a<span> such that </span><span>a3 = x</span><span>. If </span>x<span> positive </span>a<span> will be positive, if </span>x<span> is negative </span>a<span> will be negative. Cube roots is a specialized form of our common </span>radicals calculator<span>.

</span>Example Cube Roots:<span>The 3rd root of 64, or 64 radical 3, or the cube root of 64 is written as \( \sqrt[3]{64} = 4 \).The 3rd root of -64, or -64 radical 3, or the cube root of -64 is written as \( \sqrt[3]{-64} = -4 \).The cube root of 8 is written as \( \sqrt[3]{8} = 2 \).The cube root of 10 is written as \( \sqrt[3]{10} = 2.154435 \).</span>

The cube root of x is the same as x raised to the 1/3 power. Written as \( \sqrt[3]{x} = x^{\frac{1}{3}} \). The common definition of the cube root of a negative number is that <span>
(-x)1/3</span> = <span>-(x1/3)</span>.[1] For example:

<span>The cube root of -27 is written as \( \sqrt[3]{-27} = -3 \).The cube root of -8 is written as \( \sqrt[3]{-8} = -2 \).The cube root of -64 is written as \( \sqrt[3]{-64} = -4 \).</span><span>

5. While bird watching, Gabrielle saw 6 robins and 3 blue jays.
Semenov [28]

Answer:

Neither. They both saw the same amount of birds.

Step-by-step explanation:

Gabrielle saw 9 birds, but so did Chase. 6+3 is 9. 3+6 is also 9. The commutative property of addition states that a+b=b+a.
