She looked at what was her home with longing. The buildings around it were growing day by day and the lesser and older building looked like it was going to collapse any day causing a stark comparison to the grandiose buildings around it. The years had token a toll on the once grand building especially since it was not well kept. She walked through the building one last time and looked at the rickety old sofa that was at corner of the room that had been collecting dust, it looked as if someone sat it the dust particles would fly all around the room. Her eyes traveled around the house until they landed on a stuffed bunny, the torn up outer fabric sown from a textile made the stuffed bunny that laid sprawled look older than it actually was. She blinked and when she opened her eyes the building was back to it’s original glory. She heard a small giggle from one of the rooms so she followed it to see a small girl with curly blonde hair that bounced as she ran around and blue eyes that shined with contentment as she held her stuffed rabbit in her arms. But as soon as she came she disappeared and the woman could only regret what had happened. She walked back out of the building taking only the stuffed bunny with her and held it to her chest as she saw the building and all her memories come crashing down.

Answer:

Pap always said to take a chicken when you had the chance because you can always give it away if you don't want to eat it. Then that person will owe you a favor. I never knew pap to actually turn down a chicken, but that's what he used to say.

What is the use of this capitalized noun clause:
dimulka [17.4K]
The correct answer is 'subject'. You can tell what the subject of a sentence is by asking yourself what the verb is referring to. In this case, the verb, 'was', is saying that 'That I was in a hurry' was no excuse, so it must be a subject.

Hope this helps!
