Summary of Hamlet. The King of Denmark's spirit orders his son Hamlet to venge his assassination by murdering Hamlet the new king. Hamlet feigns folly, considers death and life, and seeks vengeance. His uncle likewise conceives schemes to assassinate Hamlet, afraid for his life.
