Answer:

$6.96

Step-by-step explanation:

Find how much each box of crayon costs

To do this we need to divide 1.68 by the boxes by how many boxes it gives.

$1.68/7 = $0.24/box

Multiply the cost per box to how many boxes.

$0.24 x 29 = $6.96

Hope this helps.

Answer: $6.96 - How to get the answer ↓

__________________________________________________________

Well first start to multiply by 7

7 x 1 = 7

7 x 2 = 14

7 x 3 = 21

7 x 4 = 28

7 x 5 = 35

Because '7 x 5' is greater than 29, We will use '7 x 4' which is 28

7 boxes = 1.68

From the '7 x 4' we then again multiply '4 x 1.68' which is 6.72

So now we know 28 boxes = $6.72

But were still missing one box.

Now we divide '1.68 ÷ 7' this equation equals to '0.24'

With this information we can assume that-

1 Box = 0.24¢

Now we add '6.72' + '0.24' to add one more box to the 28 boxes.

We get '$6.96'

So now we know that 29 boxes will cost $6.96 dollars.

the rectangle shown has an area of 105 square inches. the width is x+ 16 inches and the length is x. find the dimensions of the
Brums [2.3K]

Answer:

Length = 5

Width = 21

Step-by-step explanation:

(x)(x + 16) = 105

x^2 + 16x = 105

x^2 + 16x - 105 = 0

(x - 5) x ( x + 21) = 0

x - 10 = 0

x = 5

x + 21 = 0

x = -21

Now that we have the zeroes.

We have to find the most viable one to put in.

Using -21 would not make sense, so we will use 5.

Plug it in:

x = 5

(5) (5 + 16) = 105

5 ( 21) = 105
