Predict how you feel time, place, weather, and colors will play a key role in setting the Dystopian tone in 1984.
NeTakaya

Setting and tone/mood can be seen to go hand in hand, so to speak.  For instance, a scene of a story or poem that takes place in a field of flower on a bright and sunny day would contribute to a tone of happiness.  That said, the time _1984_ occurs is in the future for the characters of the novel.  The place is London, and the weather and color are, respectively, dreary and gray.   Because the future can never be known for sure, this uncertainty contributes to the dystopian tone.   Likewise, when one thinks about the miserable nature for people that would be caused by a dystopian society, bright and sunny are not what one might generally think.   Setting in _1984_ contributes to the tone of dystopia because when one pictures what a dystopia might look like, smoggy, foggy, and gray are probably what come to mind.

Are you supposed to use the word “I” when writing a newspaper article? Please answer ASAP thank u so much!
Rzqust [24]
Answer: No

Reason:
When writing a newspaper article, you are writing about a story, and what happened. The facts, basically. People want to hear the real story, not your opinion. The newspaper article is focused on a person or story. It gives what actually happened, not your opinions and what you seem to know.

I hope this helps,
