What is meant by evolution through natural selection
VikaD [51]
Hello!

Natural selection is the way that animals evolve.

The theory of natural selection is that the animals that do not have a specific trait to survive in their environment will die. The animals that do have the trait will survive. The animals that survive will then pass the trait down to their offspring, who will also likely survive because they have the trait. This is how species evolve and continue to survive in their environment.

The species evolve because only the fittest survive (this is known as "survival of the fittest"). The animals that do not have the needed traits will die and they cannot have offspring.

I hope this helps answer your question! Have a great day!

Most eukaryotes use meiosis as a type of cell division to produce reproductive cells, also known as gametes, this cells are used for sexual reproduction where they fuse together in a process known as fertilization. Somatic cells are diploid while gametes are haploid.

Diploid = 2 (n)

Haploid = n

If the gametes are haploid and contain 19 chromosomes (n= 19), somatic cells must have twice the number (2 * 19 = 38). Options A, B or C are not possible be.

The reason for this is that these codes are for the injection of the lumbar. 64493 is the injection specifically, and 64494 is referencing L4. The -50 is added to show that the injection was done on both sides.</span>
