Answer: m∠6=18

3x-15=x+7

add 15 to both sides

3x-15+15=x+7+15

3x=x+7+15

3x=x+22

subtract x from both sides

3x-x=x+22-x

3x-x=22

2x=22

divide both sides by 2

2x÷2=22÷2

x=22÷2

x=11

plug it into the equation

11+7=18

m∠6=18

I hope this is good enough:

Given 2 points (-2,6) and (5,-8) what is the slope, distance, and midpoint
Anastasy [175]
(-2,6) (5,-8)

slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)
slope = (-8 - 6) / (5 - (-2) = -14/7 = -2 <==

midpoint = (x1 + x2)/2 , (y1 + y2)/2
m = (-2 + 5)/2 , (6 - 8)/2
m = (3/2, -1) <===

distance = sqrt ((x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2)
d = sqrt ((5 - (-2)^2 + (-8 - 6)^2)
d = sqrt ((5 + 2)^2 + (-14^2))
d = sqrt (7^2 + 14^2)
d = sqrt (49 + 196)
d = sqrt 245
d = 15.65 <==

Which Password is "safer?" A password made up of a five letter word, or a password made up of a seven digit number? Why??
egoroff_w [7]

Answer:

A seven digit number

Step-by-step explanation:

A password made up of digits is less likely to relate to your life (harder to guess) than a five letter word.

The number of responses to a survey are shown in the Pareto chart. The survey asked 1052 adults how they would grade the quality
Goryan [66]

Answer: (a) P(no A) = 0.935

              (b) P(A and B and C) = 0.0005

              (c) P(D or F) = 0.379

              (d) P(A or B) = 0.31

Step-by-step explanation: <u>Pareto</u> <u>Chart</u> demonstrates a relationship between two quantities, in a way that a relative change in one results in a change in the other.

The Pareto chart below shows the number of people and which category they qualified each public school.

(a) The probability of a person not giving an A is the difference between total probability (1) and probability of giving an A:

P(no A) = 1-\frac{68}{1052}

P(no A) = 1 - 0.065

P(no A) = 0.935

b) Probability of a grade better than D, is the product of the probabilities of an A, an B and an C:

P(A and B and C) = (\frac{68}{1052})(\frac{258}{1052})(\frac{327}{1052})

P(A and B and C) = \frac{5736888}{1164252608}

P(A and B and C) = 0.0005

c) Probability of an D or an F is the sum of probabilities of an D and of an F:

P(D or F) = \frac{269}{1052} +\frac{130}{1052}

P(D or F) = \frac{399}{1052}

P(D or F) = 0.379

d) Probability of an A or B is also the sum of probabilities of an A and of an B:

P(A or B) = \frac{68}{1052} +\frac{258}{1052}

P(A or B) = \frac{326}{1052}

P(A or B) = 0.31
