Answer:

The economic systems of agriculture and industrialism are similar since they both produced products of some kind and produced income for manufacturers. Both eras of industry were very important to the development of the economy in their respective areas and contributed to trade and commerce of goods and products. However, the agricultural era was characterized by people working on land rented by nobles, where they produced small-scale, personal goods and had limited personal economic and social growth. In contrast, the industrial era presented a boom in manufacturing and growth, where workers worked on privately owned land and businesses churned out large quantities of goods. Workers in the agricultural era often lived and worked in rural areas and had few economic freedoms, whereas workers in the industrial era often lived and were employed in urban cities and had more economic freedom than before.

The political systems of absolutism and democracy are similar in that they both have an entity governing the state who were responsible for protecting the people they governed. They are also government systems that have withstood the test of time and have been around for a long period of time. However, absolutism features a single person ruling over the state with unlimited power while citizens had limited freedom and rights. It has been a style of government for an extremely long time in various countries such as England and France. Due to its absolute rule and concept of divine rights, it has been a frequent reason for rebellion and independence in various territories. In contrast, democracy is where a group of elected representatives are the entities running the government. Representatives and decisions are decided through votes from the people. Colonists during the American Revolution aspired to break from the British monarchy to pursue a democratic-style government. In democratic states, all people have equal political say and have increased rights and freedoms.

Which of the following is an example of the idea of "separation of powers" in the American constitutional system?
hodyreva [135]

<em>B. The process for creating laws involves Congress and the president.</em>

Explanation:

The idea of "<em>separation of powers</em>" is very important and creates balance within the American constitutional system. Since all of the branches are equal in power, this means they check each other and prevent one another from abusing their power.

There are three branches in the United States government, legislative, executive, and judicial.

~The legislative branch is responsible for making the laws.

~The executive branch carries out these laws.

~The judicial branch will then interpret these laws.

Along with this, the legislative branch consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives, which together form Congress. The President resides within the executive branch, along with the Vice President and the Cabinet. The judicial branch holds the Supreme Court and other federal courts.

how did kings methods for civil rights differ from those of white moderates and african american militants
olga_2 [115]
Martin Luther King Jr. was a believer of peaceful protest. Every single one of his protestant gatherings were meant to be peaceful. a quote from from one of his speeches shows this:

I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.

The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

In the end, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.

unquote.

This excerpt proves that he was a peaceful protestor.

Analyze the map below and answer the question that follows.
Blizzard [7]

Answer:

The physical feature circled 1 is the southern alps (B)

Explanation:

The question is incomplete without the image of satellite map of New Zealand.

Let's consider the description of each New Zealand physical features in the options:

The Northern Peninsula:

A peninsular is a piece of land that has its border mostly surrounded by water. The northern peninsular in New Zealand is located in the far north of the northern North Island.

This goes in line with option 2 (is a peninsula along the northern section of the island)

The Southern Alps:

It is a mountain range that extends along most of the length of New Zealand's South Island. It reaches its greatest elevations near the range's western side.

This goes in line with option 1 (is a mountain area along the western coast). Since this is the description of option 1, the physical feature is the southern alps

The Canterbury Plains:

It is a lowland area of east-central South Island in New Zealand.

This goes along option 4 (is a flat area along the southeast coast)

The Eastern Hills:

This is ruled out as the name implies a hill. A hill is an area of land that extends above surrounding land.

The Eastern Hills tracks extends from the Bus Barn in Eastbourne to Upper Hutt.

How did wheat production improve between 1830 and 1890
NemiM [27]

Answer:

Explanation:

Around 1830, producing 100 bushels of wheat required 250 to 300 hours of labor. By 1890, the labor required had decreased to between 40 and 50 hours. Wheat production efficiency improved five to eight times in this period.

In 1850, it took 75 to 90 hours of labor to produce 100 bushels of corn. By 1890, the same amount of corn required only 35 to 40 hours of labor. The amount of corn produced per hour of labor approximately doubled between 1850 and 1890.

Production improvements are linked to innovations such as the use of chemical fertilizers, threshing and mowing machines, and better plows and harrows.

Hope this helps:D
